Becoming Super-Heroes!

We love Comic Con! We have been going to Comic Con Bangalore right from the start. The first time we just went to see and meet the different comic book characters. We had a lot of fun.

Listen to this story directly from Ishaan

Then our dear Peter-maama and Claudia-maami surprised us by sending a set of superhero costumes from Scotland! This helped us to be Hulk, Spiderman, and Captain America.

And that is how we have gone to Comic Con for the last few years! The first time, it was just the two of us – Inesh and Ishaan. We went dressed as Captain America and Hulk. It was 2014 and Iresh was less than 3 years old!

Inesh & Ishaan turn into Captain America & The Hulk

But all the fun really started in 2015 when Iresh took over his favourite character, Captain America. With a broken arm too!

Young Iresh makes his first appearance as Cap’n America!

Now SO MANY PEOPLE wanted to take photographs with him! It was like everybody wanted to take photographs with him and us! We were even featured on the Comic Con Facebook Page and also in a news article on YourStory.in! We went this year too!

Iresh and Inesh and Captain & Hulk make the Comic Con Official FB Page! (2015)

That time, a comics stall owner gifted Iresh the Captain’s Shield! This time, Iresh was gifted a signed portrait of the Captain by the artist Eugene Joseph (@genesjournal)!! He really has the best time among all of us! Sometimes we are jealous of him. Very jealous!

A happy Iresh poses with Eugene Joseph and his amazing gift!

Anyway, we have fun too as a lot of big people and other cosplay characters pose for photos with us. Here are some of our favourite photos from this year’s Comic Con Bangalore.

After all that fun, we are now waiting for Captain Marvel to launch. The movie is coming on March 8th and that is only a few weeks away!

We can’t wait to watch it! We are also hoping that @StarMoviesIndia will invite us for a #StarMoviesSecretScreening and give us a chance to see Captain Marvel before everybody else in the world!

After all, we are #SecretKeepers too!

We are busy writing…

Hi, big people and our little friends!

Sorry! We are still busy writing reviews for you. Reading the books and then writing about them takes us a long time. And we have already posted so many reviews for you to read!

Inesh and Ishaan are seen sitting at their desk, busy penning their thoughts into their books.
The iTwins are busy penning their thoughts for a book and a movie!

So we will be slowing down our reviews to three a week. Sometimes we will post more. Sometimes we may be forced to post less. This will also give you enough time to catch up on all our reviews. Also it will give you time to read the books we are recommending! And of course watch the movies too!

Do you agree with us? What do you think of our reviews? Are you liking them? Are there any books that you want us to read? What about movies?

Please write in to us! We are waiting to hear from you.

See you soon!

Living Next Door To Alise – by Anita Nair

A book review by Iresh Shenoy

Hello! My name is Iresh Shenoy and I am seven-years-old. Today I am writing about ‘Living Next Door to Alise’ by Anita Nair.

Listen to the review directly from Iresh

A few days back, I had reviewed Anita Nair’s other book ‘Who Let Nonu Out’. I really liked that book. I hope you read that review and also read the Nonu book.

‘Living Next Door To Alise’ is about a boy who is nine-years-old. His name is Siddharth. Siddharth finds an elephant living next to his house and then the elephant starts to talk to him! The elephant tells Siddharth that her name is Alise and soon they become best friends.

Iresh shows off his two Anita Nair books, which he hopes to get signed from her soon!

Alise is very intelligent and very good at maths! She knows so many things and wants to learn more things. So one day she follows Siddharth and goes to his school!

The way Alise shocks everybody at Siddharth’s school is very funny. I was laughing very much when I read how the teachers and students reacted to Alise talking and peeping from the window!

Another funny thing is when Alise joins Siddharth at a house party and finishes all the food! That food was for all the guests and Alise finishes all of it! Right after that, they run into the forest and get lost. Can they get out and come back home?

My favourite part in the book was when Alise and Siddharth find lots of wild elephants in the nearby forest. The drawing in the book showing lots of elephants in the forest. This made me feel very very happy.

But there was a Bearded Bandit in the forest. He wanted to kill all the elephants for their ivory tusks! Siddharth and Alise wanted to help the wild elephants and catch the Bearded Bandit.

Can Siddharth and Alise fight and defeat the Bearded Bandit? Will they be able to come back home? Or will they get trapped by the Bearded Bandit? You need to read the book to find out.

I liked reading this book by Anita Nair as it was very funny and interesting. It also shows friendship is important. It made me read one page after another, and I finished the book very quickly! I hope you read it and have fun.

Have you read this book or any other book by Anita Nair? If you like some other book let me know. I would like to read it too.

See you soon!

Our first week here was AMAZING!

Hi everybody!

It has been only a few days since we started writing and posting our reviews here. And your support through your likes and comments has been fantastic!

We are right now writing many more reviews for you. And we are reading a lot of books too. So be ready to read more from us next week.

Since today is a Sunday, we thought we will write about all the things that happened last last week. And also give some of you a chance to read the books we wrote about!

First of all, Iresh wrote his review of ‘Who Let Nonu Out’ by Anita Nair. It was liked by a lot of people. Then we were shocked to see this message from Anita Nair herself!

You should have seen Iresh jumping up and down in joy! We all jump happily when any of us get replies and comments, but this was really special! Anita Nair who is one of our most favourite authors writing to us saying she really liked our review is really amazing! We hope we can continue posting good reviews.

Next, Inesh posted his review of Neil Gaiman’s ‘The Graveyard Book’. And what do we see when we wake up the next morning? Neil Gaiman has liked and retweeted our tweet about the review!!! Can you hear us scream and dance with joy?!

Thanks to Neil Gaiman and many of his fans, our tweet got nearly 100 likes from people all over the world! And Baba tells us that it has reached nearly 65,000 people! We are so so happy!

We also posted three other reviews, about Enid Blyton’s The Secret Seven series (by Ishaan), The Bad Guys series by Aaron Blabey (by Iresh), and the magical movie Mary Poppins Returns (by Inesh).

Thank you all very much for your support. We hope you will keep reading our reviews and also read the books that we recommend. Please continue to write to us. This really makes want us to write more.

Have a great Sunday! We are busy writing our reviews that will come to you next week.

Until then!

Hello and Welcome!

We are Inesh, Ishaan, and Iresh Shenoy, and together we are known as the #iThree. We live in Bangalore with our parents and we love playing games, reading books, and of course, watching movies.

The iThree making faces

Even if we are brothers (and two of us are twins), we can be very similar or very different in our likes and dislikes. Looking for a veggie-loving boy or a carnivore? We can be both among the three of us!

This is our very own corner of the internet where we will share our thoughts about our wonderful world. It may be about books, movies, or even toys! We hope you find it interesting.

Send us your thoughts too. It will be more fun that way.

See you soon.
